May the Lord Bless you

The Lord Bless Thee

For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee. Deuteronomy 15:6 (KJV)

The concept of God's children being blessed is not just a New Testament principle. Almighty God has always purposed to lift His own up above all other peoples on the earth. Today, I pray that you will grasp the reality of this desire of God's to do good to you whom He loves.

The LORD, הוהי Y hovah, The Existing One, thy God, םיהלא 'elohiym, One true God, blesseth thee, ךרב barak, praises, salutes and blesses you, as He promised thee, רבד dabar, declared, commanded and spoken concerning you: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, טבע 'abat בר rab יוג gowy, take a pledge of multitudes that they become indebted to you, a people more numerous than yourself of the peoples outside of the covenant. You shall be their chief.

But you shall not borrow, טבע 'abat, give a pledge for a debt; and thou shalt reign over many nations, ל מ mashal, have dominion over and be governor of multitudes mor numerous than yourself of the peoples outside of the covenant. You shall be their chief, but they shall not have dominion authority over you.

In Christ you and I rule and reign with the authority of Almighty God Himself. This promise is given to those who obey the covenant agreement between God and man in Christ Jesus just as assuredly as it was given to those who kept the commandments of God during the Old Covenant.
