The most important privilege that a Christian has is that of the right to pray. It is not only a right and a privilege, but each individual believer's greatest obligation.
Our nation and the nations of the world can be given over to either the influence of demonic immorality, profanity and corruption, or they can be restored into the hands of a godly, righteous and pure people. This restoration will allow the people of the nations to be lead into the truth that sets men free.
Complaining or talking about how bad things are will never change anything, but prayer will change everything. Indeed, if we do not pray we allow those who have no regard for life, nor respect for what is pure and lovely to press their cause by their own demonically inspired devices. Our silence is a loud statement that God is impotent and prayer ineffectual.
This is anything but the truth. James 5:16 tells us that "The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]." (Amplified).
To not pray is to deny God. To not pray is to vote against God and His will on earth. No one will bother praying unless they believe there is someone who not only hears but is able and willing to do something. The book of Hebrews in the eleventh chapter and the sixth verse makes this statement. "... he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
When we pray to our Father in the name of Jesus, we are guaranteed results. We vote for the will of God in the situation. We cast our vote "Thy Kingdom come, They will be done." Pray today. Vote November 2nd.
