Your Vote ...

In my estimation, the most important privilege that an American citizen has is that of the right to vote. It is not only a right and a privilege but each individual's greatest obligation.

This United States of America can be given over to either the immoral, profane and corrupt or it can be restored into the hands of the moral, righteous and pure. This restoration will allow her to return to the greatness that she once had. It all depends upon you and me. Yes, you and me.

Complaining about how bad things are or sticking our heads in the sand will not benefit anyone. It does, however, change things. Indeed, by doing nothing we allow those who have no regard for life nor respect for what is pure and lovely to press their cause by voting. Our silence is a loud statement to law makers and politicians that everyone agrees with the noisy minority.

Satan sold Christians a bill of goods when he convinced the Church that it should stay out of politics. Let's face it, if moral, godly people aren't willing to get involved in the political process, and at the very least to vote, then the devil and his crowd will gladly take over.

What about the "separation of church and state," you may ask? The separation between church and state concept was to keep the government from establishing or endorsing a state religion. This government mandated religion is what those who came to America's shores were fleeing from. It was never the intention of our founding fathers to keep religion out of the government. If fact, the absence of religion in those who were to govern and judge was seen to be the beginning of the end for the United States. One of our great founders said, "The Constitution of these United States will not work for any but a moral people."
