A Seed Sown ...

God established the principle of seed time and harvest as a immutable law for as long as the earth exists:

Genesis 8:22 (KJV) While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, ... shall not cease.

He also established the rule of like begetting like:

Genesis 1:11-12 (KJV) And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

1 Cor. 15:38 (KJV) But God giveth ... to every seed his own body.

God brought forth Adam after His kind:

Genesis 1:26-28 (KJV) And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion ... So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, ...

God brought forth Jesus the Anointed One after His kind:

Hebrews 1:3 (KJV) Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

In Christ Jesus, God brought forth you and I after His own kind:

1 John 3:1-2 (KJV) ... Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Seed only knows how to do one thing: Grow! It will push up through any obstacle until it breaks forth into the sun. Seed always brings a harvest because what it develops into generates more seed.
