And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. 1 Samuel 3:19 (KJV)
When you are willing to grow in the Lord, yielding to the prompting of His Spirit, being taught of Him and led by Him, being nourished by His Word, you will experience His mighty presence moment by moment each and every day.
This is how you can come to the place where it can be said of you, “[He] did let none of his words fall to the ground.” This simply means that what you say will be accomplished. Your words will be honored by God and will establish your future.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:23-24 (KJV)
The above verse is not a promise loosely given to just anyone who says that they are a Christian. The power of words is not limited to the redeemed child of God but supernatural power is superimposed upon the words of those in covenant with Him.
Those at the tower of Babel were using the natural power of common words and common purpose but those of the Upper Room were using the supernatural power of divine words and divine purpose.
When the Lord is with us and we are with Him, we speak “as the oracles of God” and we minister “of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” (1 Pet. 4:11 KJV).
He will not allow what we speak to “fall to the ground” without accomplishing what has been said.
Receive. Rehearse. Require. Rejoice and Realize.
