The Lord Was With Him

And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. 1 Samuel 3:19 (KJV)

Not only did Samuel grow, but “the Lord was with him.”

When you and I are willing to feed ourselves on the Word of God, willing to spend time with, and yield to, the Holy Spirit, we will grow spiritually until we reach the stature of the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him.

[That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him. Ephesians 4:13 (Amp)

This developmental process that we experience as we cooperate with His work within (Phil. 2:12b) will bring us to “oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God.” This is how the believer reaches spiritual maturity (“really mature manhood”).

It is in this marvelous condition that we, as mature believers, come to realize the great truth that the Lord is with us, in us, and, in fact, manifest in and through us (Joh. 4:21; Rom. 8:19; Heb 13:5; Col. 1:27; 1 Joh. 4:4; ).

As you and I grow, the Lord is with us to bring us into His determined destiny for our lives. Beloved, you and I will complete the plan and purpose of God for our lives. We won’t do it by our own strength, but He will do it with, in, and through us.

. . . Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Zech. 4:6 (KJV) It shall be said and known that, “the Lord was , and is, with you!”
