Racist?

I have been accused of being a racist. You probably have too. I have to admit, I am a racist in a certain sense of the word. Don't get mad at me and call me intolerant, bigoted, or some other popular diatribe. Let me explain.

White-face, Black-face, Red-face, Brown-face, Yellow-face, all belong to one race. Yes, surprising enough, we all belong to the Human Race. So, I'm a racist. I esteem people more than I do any of the other marvelous creations on earth.

I am blessed to be an O-Positive blood type. That means that I can give blood to anyone of my race; the human race, that is.

I think dolphins, whales, bears, dogs, cats, birds and all creatures are worth caring for and being kindly towards, but I will always rescue a drowning human stranger before I will rescue my favorite drowning dog.

Saving the whales, however warm and fuzzy that may be, and I don't discount its worth, is trumped by saving those of the human race. Saving human babies is much more important to me than saving the whales, beavers, eagles, or whatever.

It is a Darwinian and secularist view that mankind is no more than an evolved animal. The sad truth is that this kind of thinking has led us to the animalistic behavior of many we call human. Something to consider, I think, before it is too late.

Anyway, lets abate the hate and silence the hate mongers by refusing to buy in to those who desire to divide in order to conquer.

That's what I'm thinking.
