Are You Praying?

Are You Praying?

Christians have the privilege and the responsibility to pray. Many, however, do not avail themselves of the power of prayer and, so, live lives of aimless wandering rather than lives of focus and meaning.

Prayer brings focus to the plan and purpose of God for each supplicants life. Prayer is the time of dialogue between the Father's sons and daughters and Himself. In prayer there is communion, comfort for each trial, wisdom for each decision, knowledge for each task and timing for every purpose.

The Father's business is discussed and certain duties delegated to those who will spend the time to listen to the Voice of the Spirit and obey His promptings.

Herein are the strategies of the devil exposed and the plan of God drawn out and clarified in order to overcome every demonic strategy by the word of His children's testimony and blood of the Lamb,.

There is a warfare that is raging for the control of the nations, tribes and tongues of planet earth. For the faith filled praying Christian, this is a "good fight" that is already won at Calvary's tree.

Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12 (Amp)

[God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross]. Colossians 2:15 (Amp)

Believing Christians are to recognize that there is a war, seek the Lord for the heavenly strategies to bring the victory of the Cross to bear on the present skirmishes, and take the dominion authority that has been restored to them in the name of Jesus the Anointed One. The fight (battle) is not a natural one, but a supernatural one and must, therefore, be fought supernaturally. "For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood] . . ." (2 Cor. 10:4 Amp).
