Doctor or No Doctor

Doctor, or No Doctor

If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. (Exodus 15:26)

Have you ever felt condemned because the devil has convinced you that it is a lack of faith to use doctors and medicine when you need healing? If so, perhaps the following will bring peace to your heart.

The first, and most important, thing for you and I to understand is, it is the will of God to heal you. One time your faith can be strong and you can believe the Word without wavering no matter the circumstances or symptoms tell you. Faith will appropriate your healing; no problem.

Another time, you find that your faith is not developed to the degree that will bring you victory so, then, the doctor can be your best friend. Healing faith is something that comes line upon line through revelation in the word of God.

If you're not certain whether you have faith that is strong enough or whether you need the help of a doctor, let the Holy Spirit lead you.

If fear tells you to forget the doctor and stand in faith, then go see your doctor in faith. If, on the other hand, you have strong confidence within you that healing is your portion by faith, let your faith work its work and receive your healing.

Remember, the issue is not whether or not you go to the doctor , it is what you do with the faith you have
