The Gift . . .

The greatest Gift ever given was that of God's only begotten Son. Stop and consider the cost of your salvation.

God was moving on the earth according to His prophetic promise and was doing "His act, His strange act." God and man had come to the moment called the "fullness of time."

Do you feel the same thrill within that you did when you had your first Christmas in Christ? How different a Christmas it was. It was filled with life!

This year, thirty-seven years later, still fills me with the same child-like excitement. What will this Christmas bring? I pray that I will be able to share this season with some new believer who is hearing, really hearing, the words of the Christmas songs for the first time. I pray that, like me, there will be those who receive the gift of God's Son and find themselves wrapped in His matchless love to such a degree that they will continue to walk with Him.

Your city is one of the greatest harvest fields in the world! It is religious, but does not know the One true God. It is spiritual, but chases after every spirit but the Holy Spirit. We should be found moving in their midst, speaking their language, offering hope, and pointing them toward the Living God.

Be strong and very courageous ... turn not from (your calling) to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper where ever you go . Do exploits for God in this hour and see them prosper like never before! [Joshua 1:7; Daniel 11:32b].
