One thing Americans don't do well is "wait." We want everything to happen "NOW!" We have forgotten that, in real life, the whole story line is not over in a half-an-hour. Microwaves are great, but life takes longer to bake.
We want to know what is going to happen when. While it is good to be orderly and to plan, we must realize that God has a Master plan that does not always align with our daily schedule. We must become flexible enough to let the Lord bless us when, how and where He wants, knowing that, in the end, everything will be completed right on time.
We know: Everything we need, our God will supply. There is no lack in Him. He has stewards who are writing checks right now because they hear and obey His voice. There are stewards of gifts and talents that will be drawn in to help build as we move ahead. We know this, because God's Word tells us it is so.
We know: If we could do what God has called us to do, we wouldn't need Him. He whittled down Gideon's army so man could not say he had won the battle. Again and again He used the few to defeat the many. He told them what He would do before He did it so every one would know when it came to pass that He is God.
We know: That if God be for us, no one can be against us. He sets a table in the midst of our enemies and He then makes them to be at peace with us. We have favor in every arena because we have favor with God. That's why now we have everything we need!
