Empty Vessels Shall Be Filled

And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. Joel 2:24

This verse is rich with typology that can only be seen in the original language. Join me as we mine the riches of this text starting with the word “floors.”

The “floors,” Nrg goren, are vessels or empty places. Our verse states that these empty vessels will be “full of wheat,” bar. That is, winnowed, purged and cleansed from the “fats,” yeqeb, the deep, extreme poverty of man’s soul. The result will be that, the deep things of God which are hidden and above man’s scrutiny, especially the divine counsels, will be received with wine, tiyrowsh, a symbol of joy and celebration and oil, rhuy yitshar, a symbol of anointing and healing.

e.g. The Good Samaritan on the Jericho Road

And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. Luke 10:34

The promise, here, is that lost individuals who are empty and void of the life of God will be purged and cleansed by the blood of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. The deep, extreme poverty of their souls will be replaced with the divine counsels and secrets of God. Supernatural understanding will break upon them in waves of glory.

Each person who receives the Lord and His promised provision will find themselves filled with unspeakable joy and the glory of the Lord God Almighty.

They will live a life of joyful celebration as they find themselves moving in the anointing of Christ the Anointed One.

Healing streams will flow in their lives and restore all that has been stolen by the enemy of their soul.

You and I, Beloved, are partakers of this wonderful promise and are chosen and called to go and tell the good news of God’s great desire to bestow His love and mercy to all who will hear.
