In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1 (KJV)
The beginning, tyvar re’shiyth, is the first fruits of God’s Word spoken, the beginning of the chiefest, the choicest part, and the best. God had you in mind when He created everything that it would take to support your life and the lives of the rest of creation. The creation which, in fact, was all made to bless mankind.
God, Myhla ‘elohiym, (plural intensive-singular meaning = One God in three Persons, Him whom we call the Holy Trinity). He declares Himself without explanation or apology. He would continue to unveil Himself in His dealings with mankind as is recorded in scripture.
Created, arb bara’, created, shaped or formed, chose, made or dispatched, fashioned (always with God as subject) the heaven, Mymv shamayim, visible heavens, the sky as the abode of the stars; the visible universe, the sky, atmosphere, etc., and the earth, Ura ‘erets, the firm, earth or world.
Today, there is a tremendous move of the spirit of anti-Christ among otherwise well meaning people to repudiate, or simply ignore, the biblical account of creation. Even scholarly ministers of the Gospel, such as the respected Finnis Dake, promoted the “gap theory” with scriptural juggling of the most agile sort. Wanting to defend the authority and accuracy of the scriptural record of creation by trying to “help” by making the Word of God fit with “science,” so called. Evolutionary thought was anything but scientific. It was purely speculative from an anti-God anti-biblical point of view. There was never any allowance for a Creator who created. Creationist thinking accepts the truth of there being a God who one must answer to.
Herein lies the problem. Those who oppose God and all He stands for must embrace the lie of evolution. On the other hand; If one has no problem with there being a God who create, then science can become pure, that is, logical, observable, provable and sustainable.
The Word of God has been proven over and over and so it stands incontestable. Pure science always proves that which God has declared to be so. May our conceptualizing do likewise.
