I Will Come . . .

An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee. Exodus 20:24 (KJV)

Genesis 3:8 records that “the Voice of the Lord God” was heard “walking in the garden in the cool of the day.” Our God desires daily fellowship with those who are created in His image and likeness. How we receive His invitation to “walk” with Him, and how much we pay attention to and yield to what the “Voice” speaks to us, determines the measure with which He can bless us.

He records His name in us individually and with us corporately and promises to come and bless us.

One of the things that takes place when He comes and we walk together is that we are kept from disease.

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee. Exodus 15:26 (KJV)

As we receive Him and obey the speaking of the Voice we are positioned to be blessed with every spiritual, and natural, blessing.

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (KJV)

It is the desire of our heavenly Father to establish us as leaders of the nations, blessed and whole, walking in covenant with Him day by day. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Heb. 11:6).
