And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11 (KJV)
Once born-again, you and I were transformed into a new creation by the power of God. We are now the sons of God.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12 (KJV)
We are now witnesses of His grace. We have experienced and benefitted from His unconditional, supernatural agape love. As we yield to His command to be endued with power from on high (the Baptism in the Holy Spirit) we can be witness to His resurrection power.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8 (KJV)
He said that we, “shall be witnesses unto me.” This means we shall be witnesses to Him in resurrection power.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11 (KJV)
When we witness, or speak what we have seen and what we have known of Him, we are joined with the supernatural speaking of the precious Blood of “the Lamb Slain from the foundation of the world” (Rev. 13:8).
The Blood speaks and The Voice speaks as our testimony [our witness] speaks. In other words, when we speak of what we have seen and heard of Him, what we have experienced in Him, there is a supernatural empowerment that God Himself backs and attests to with signs, wonders and miracles.
