Old Universalistic Heresy

Everyone is raving about the sermon at the Royal Wedding, here it is in a nutshell - God is love, love is right and good, so love each other. Do you see the problem? Everyone knows we are supposed to love God with all our heart, mind soul and strength and our neighbor as ourselves, but we don't and can't. Apart from the transformative work of the Gospel and empowerment of the Holy Spirit we are unable to please God and frankly don't want to. Jesus was only mentioned as an example, not the cure. He is THE ONLY ONE who has or ever will live the life of love God requires. He is THE ONLY ONE who perfectly loved mankind enough to lay down his life as a sacrifice for our sin. Good luck with try-hard, moralistic religion, I prefer the Gospel. – Dr. Gary Cass Sadly there are people who ought to know the difference between biblical Christianity and old, discredited liberal theology defending Bishop Curry's sermon at the royal wedding. There are so many false assumptions and out right errors that you would hope people would see this is nothing new, it is the old, universalistic heresy. No, we are not all children of God. No, Jesus didn't die merely as an example of love. No, Jesus did not die for nothing. He died to redeem His people and has gained a name above every name, and the nations of the earth are His inheritance. I could go on, but here is the Bishops own words regarding same sex marriage, "Our commitment to be an inclusive church is not based on a social theory or capitulation to the ways of the culture, but on our belief that the outstretched arms of Jesus on the cross are a sign of the very love of God reaching out to us all." To Vote or Not Vote? That is the Question

Not sure what to do? Thinking about not voting?

The Supreme Court being Conservative or Liberal is what this election is about.

Please consider the following few simple facts:

1. Prayer In Schools - The Supreme Court ruled in "Engel vs Vitale" in 1962 that Prayer did not belong in our Schools.
2. Protection of Unborn Babies - The Supreme Court ruled in "Roe vs Wade" in 1973 that Abortion at any term was "legal". In other words, they stripped away a baby's right to life. Now babies are being dismembered and their parts sold by heartless and greedy people.
3. The Sacred Union of a Man and a Woman in Marriage - The Supreme Court ruled in "Obergefell vs Hodges" in 2015 that Same Sex Marriage was legal. Pandora's box has been opened and there is no end in sight. Child marriage is already being advocated.

Each of the Supreme Court "determinations" were contrary to the will of the majority of "We The People" and the Constitution of the United States.

1. Economic Freedom - A Liberal Supreme Court will give more and more power to the Government to control every aspect of life including how much you can keep of what you earn. A Conservative Supreme Court will encourage the Constitutional right to your pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness. That includes the right to retain the "fruit of your labor".
2. Religious Freedom - A Liberal Supreme Court will agree with the Liberal agenda to restrict your right to worship as you please and share your faith publically. Conservative Supreme Court Justices will maintain your Constitutional right to "Freedom of Religion" and allow you to live our your life according to your conscience without fear of Government reprisal.
3. Free Speech - A Supreme Court packed with Liberal Justices will curtail your right to free speech. The push to limit what you can say and where you can say it is already wide-spread on our University and College Campus'. This is encouraged by a Liberal Government and will be ratified by a Liberal Supreme Court. A Supreme Court filled with Conservative Justices will uphold your right to free speech..
4. Second Amendment - A Liberal Supreme Court will agree with Liberal Politicians and strike down your right to "keep and bear arms" for your personal and your family's protection. Conservative Justices, like the late Justice Scalia, will maintain the Constitution as it was intended.

Perhaps you should vote biblically instead of for your own perceived special interests. Perhaps you should consider voting for one of the two candidates that stand a chance to win instead of throwing away your vote on a third party candidate that will only throw the election. Perhaps, now that you know, you should question what you've heard or been taught in our secular schools system, stand up and be counted as a biblically based Christian.

We are called to be "One Nation Under God".

Remember the promise of God Almighty as recorded in 2 Chronicles 7:14:

" If my people, which are called by my name,

shall humble themselves, and pray,

and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;

then will I hear from heaven,

and will forgive their sin,

and will heal their land."

A Thought About Being "Liberal"

Biblical World View

I. What would you say to me if I told you that all mankind was born “good?”

A. That everyone was basically “good” and that they only act out badly when they are mistreated or trained otherwise.

B. This, Beloved, is the secular humanist view of mankind.

1. There is none bad, no not one.

2. Everyone is basically “good.”

3. In fact, liberal thinking goes on to conclude that “evil does not exist.”

a. This leads to the logic that there is no need for a “Savior” and certainly must be no “Hell.”

4. Now, if you consider yourself a liberal, I want to clarify what I’m speaking of here because the meaning of words changes when it is deemed necessary:

5. The Oxford Dictionary defines “Liberal” this way:

a. Willing to respect and accept behavior or opinions different from one's own.

(1) Tolerance

b. Favorable to individual rights and freedoms.

(1) Opposed to group rights and freedoms where they violate individual rights and freedoms.

(a) If you give a group rights you take rights away from the individual.

c. (in a political context) Favoring individual liberty, free trade, and moderate reform.

(1) Freedom Loving American who believes in free enterprise, entrepreneur spirit and the least restrictive environment possible.

d. Given, used, or giving in generous amounts.

(1) Generous

e. (of education) Concerned with broadening general knowledge and experience.

(1) Critical Thinking, Creating an environment of excellence in education and the free flow of ideas and concepts.

f. ORIGIN

(1) Originally meaning 'suitable for a free man': from Latin liberalis, from liber 'free man'.

6. Today, however, those that guide the “Liberal” world view have redefined the word to mean something entirely different:

a. Intolerant of any opinion except that of their own.

(1) e.g. Biblical Authority - Christianity - Judaism - Conservatism - Capitalism

b. Individual liberty is seen as having everything provided by the government so that all can have equal liberty.

(1) (e.g. E.U. says it is a “human right” for each individual to travel overseas once a year.

(2) This leaves no place for God as Sovereign nor God as Supplier.

c. Favoring individual liberty, free trade, and moderate reform is actually seen as government control of the individual, government control of business, and radical reform to bring everyone in step with what government deems “good” for the various groups which individuals belong to.

d. Generosity is understood to mean that those who make more than is deemed proper should be thrilled about being taxed so that the government can take care of everybody in a manner that they deem proper. The government is seen as “generous” by wanting to take care of every conceivable need that the governed seem to have at the moment.

(1) The facts are that “Liberals” are not that liberal. Those stamped with the “Conservative” label actually out give liberals by huge amounts.

(a) In other words: the word “liberal” has come to mean narrow minded, controlling, and self serving, while the word “conservative” has come to mean “liberal” and “giving”.

e. So, Which are you?

(1) It may be that you might want to redefine yourself and become a real “Liberal.”


Job 14:4 (KJV) Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.

Job 15:14 (KJV) What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Is America Going Out of Business? California is.

This video "Afterburner with Bill Whittle: Going Out of Business!" is one of the most compelling, well thought out, and well presented arguments against liberal, "progressive," thinking I have seen in quite some time. This is a video every liberal should watch. In fact, you might want to send the link to one of your liberal friends.

It is almost prophetic in its clear warning to the State of California concerning its zombie-like march to bankruptcy and destruction. California may never fall into the sea but it is going to fall over the fiscal cliff into the financial abyss and screaming for a big government bailou.

Texas, on the other hand, is flourishing as it embraces entrepreneurship, the back-bone of free enterprise. Businesses are beginning to flee the states, and countries, that over tax them. With them go the jobs that our, fast becoming, dictatorial government leaders promise.

This November will provide a wonderful opportunity to begin the restoration process of a strong, healthy, free America.
