Viewing the Impossible

Viewing the Impossible
Now at Lystra a man sat who found it impossible to use his feet, for he was a cripple from birth and had never walked. He was listening to Paul as he talked, and [Paul] gazing intently at him and observing that he had faith to be healed, Shouted at him, saying, Stand erect on your feet! And he leaped up and walked. Acts 14:8-10 (AMP)

When was that last time that you came into contact with someone who had been ravaged by polio, a gun accident that left them paralyzed , or who had been born crippled from birth?
What was your reaction? What thoughts went through your mind? Did you consider praying for their healing, or put it out of your mind because it was "a permanent condition" for which there was no hope?
In these few verses we see the words "impossible," "cripple from birth," and "never walked." But, we also see that "he had faith to be healed" and that "he leaped up and walked" when someone was sensitive to perceive his faith to be healed and was willing to say, "Stand erect on your feet," with conviction that God would answer the man's level of faith.
While I am not advocating shouting at every physically challenged individual to do what is impossible in the natural, I am calling for what should be the normal Christian attitude toward the impossible. When the Holy Spirit gives insight into the faith level of an individual, or when we hear the voice of God concerning a matter, we must be willing to instantly obey and speak the miracle into existence.
For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. Luke 1:37 (AMP)

Such an experience will change your life forever.
