The Attacks Continue

As if we don't have enough confusion in the world, it seems that the Presbyterian Church USA and an Anglican priest in Jerusalem have decided to add to it. They would like to rewrite the Bible to exclude any mention of Jews, including the fact that Jesus was a Jew.

One can readily see the work of the spirit of anti-Christ at work in the unregenerate minds of these misguided souls. It becomes obvious that the Scripture accurately depicts the natural mind as one that cannot understand the things of God.

• But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)

The attack against the infallibility of Scripture has been gaining momentum ever since Darwin's mentor convinced him that man evolved, rather than was created by God. This not-scientific-at-all view of the beginnings of all things even led brilliant Bible scholar's like Finnis Dake to try to make the Bible fit the popular thought of the day. In his case, the "gap theory" was put forth to account for the millions of years that the biblical record would not, and could not, account for, but the secular Darwinist's desperately needed. 

The unregenerate mind, and, yes, the unconvinced, double-minded, deluded, and deceived, mind could be swayed to propagate the lie that God, the Creator of all things, could not possibly have created it all in six literal days. All this in spite of the simple declaration of the Bible concerning itself that it was God breathed and absolutely true.

• 2 Timothy 3:16 (AMP) Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action),
•  Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. John 17:17 (NKJV) 

Jesus is the Truth. He is not a truth; He is the Truth.

• Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6 (NKJV) 

On the other hand, the devil is a liar, and the father of all lies. His mission is to steal, kill, and destroy you. He does it by cutting you off from God and His Christ in any way that he can.

• You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. John 8:44 (NKJV) 
• The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10 (NKJV) 

If you believe the lie you will miss the truth. If you miss the truth you will miss life, and the life more abundant, that only the Jewish Jesus, the Christ of God, can give. In other words, all the promises of the God who created you, are lost to you forever.

He gave us His word, which is unalterable truth, historically proven over and over, even to this day with one archeological find after another.

We don't need another corrupted Bible. What we need, is to believe the one that we have.
