If You Have Been Raised
IF THEN you have been
raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the
dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where
Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1 (AMP)
The tragedy of this hour
is that most Christians are earth bound. They are chained to the sense realm of
the five natural senses (sight, smell, sound, taste, & touch) unaware that
they also have the same senses in the spirit.
Beloved, you and I were
designed to "seek those things which are above" where Christ Jesus
rules from the right hand of God the Father.
When we became born-again we were positioned in Him and He in us. When He arose from the grave, we arose with (in) Him. When He sat down at the right hand of God, we sat down with (in) Him.
Is it any wonder, then, that the next verse encourages us to "set our affection on things above" rather than "on the things of the earth?"

And set your minds and
keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are
on the earth. Colossians 3:2 (AMP)
Beloved, the Anointed
One and His anointing is in you! You are filled with resurrection power.
And if the Spirit of Him
Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ
Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived,
perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you. Romans 8:11 (AMP)
