Our Warfare

For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. 2 Corinthians 10:3 (AMP)

Don't doubt it; there is a war going on all around you at this very moment. One-third of the demons, led by Satan, are waging a war that is bent upon destroying every man, woman and child on earth. The Bible warns us in the first part of 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV) to "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." Demonic forces work according to the nature of their leader, of whom it is written, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy" (Joh. 10:10a KJV). They use every means possible to keep people from accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. When that fails, they attack the newly born-again Christian in order to draw him into cultic error or convince him that he is not going to be able to live the Christian life. The devil "is a liar, and the father of it" (Joh. 8:44 KJV).

You, dear one, are a child of the light and have revelation, insight into the mysteries of God in Christ, and know that you have been give the weapons of your Father to "fight the good fight of faith" (1 Tim. 6:12 KJV). You understand that the only truth is in Christ who is the truth (Joh. 14:6 KJV), and He has told you that He has come so that you might have life, and that more abundantly" (Joh. 10:10 KJV).

The Word of God has also promised that "no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper" (Isa. 54:17 KJV) and that you can put on the armor of God which will enable you to stand in the most evil of days (Eph. 6:13 KJV).

Nothing can separate you from the unlimited power of the love of God (Rom. 8:39 KJV). That means that you will always come out the victor in every battle!
