So Shall It Come To Pass
The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: Isaiah 14:24 (KJV)
Whether for judgement, correction, or in promised blessing, the Word of the Lord is sure. He is ever faithful to bring to pass the thing that He has spoken.
Here we see the Lord speak out of the purpose and abundance of His heart: "as I have thought," and "as I have purposed.." This also reveals His great compassion for His purpose is to forgive and liberate His people.
"As I have thought," damah, devised, imagined or caused to resemble, "so shall it come to pass." "As I have purposed," ya'ats, counselled, advised, planned and consulted together in the Godhead, so shall it stand. In other words, His plan and purpose for you will not change.
Remember that Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that God has a prophetically proclaimed divine destiny for those who are His.
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP)
Emancipation (liberation) from bondage of all kind is His plan and purpose for you:
That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. Isaiah 14:25 (KJV)
We learn in Isaiah 10:27 that the anointing is what will decimate every yoke of bondage and lift its control from off the people: ". . . the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing."
