What if Some did not Believe?

What if some did not believe and were without faith? Does their lack of faith and their faithlessness nullify and make ineffective and void the faithfulness of God and His fidelity [to His Word]? Romans 3:3 (AMP)

One of the editors of our local newspaper was trying to convince me that homosexual marriages should be legal and that the homosexual life-style is acceptable. While expressing her arguments she wrote, "just because the majority of Americans believe something, it does not make it legal or moral." I, of course, could not agree more with that particular statement although it was nestled in a great bed of untruth.

After all, Joshua and Caleb were surrounded by the majority when they gave a good report of the promised land (Numbers 13:30-33). The founding fathers of this great nation understood that simple truth and fashioned a Republic instead of a Democracy.

Just because the majority believe something, it does not make it true, but God is true. His Son is "truth" (John 14:6 - KJV) and "faithful".

. . .These are the words of the Amen, the trusty and faithful and true Witness, the Origin and Beginning and Author of God's creation: Revelation 3:14 (Amp)

God is unwilling and, by His nature, unable to lie or deceive:

God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, . . . Numbers 23:19 (Amp)

If none believed, not even you and I, the Word of God and God Himself would remain to offer to rest to whosoever would reach out to Him in faith believing.

[Resting] in the hope of eternal life, [life] which the ever truthful God Who cannot deceive promised before the world or the ages of time began. Titus 1:2 (Amp)
