You Shall Flourish

Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. Psalms 92:13 (KJV)

Are you planted in the house of the Lord? If not, you should be. It is the place where you are positioned to flourish.

What, exactly, does that mean? Let's look at this verse a little bit closer.

This word concerns those that are planted, ltv shathal, that is, transplanted, into the house, bayith bah', or, household of faith. The Hebrew word, bayith bah', also means, family. So we are speaking of someone who is transplanted from the realm of darkness into His marvelous light and adopted into the family of God, the family of, Y@hovah, the existing One.

Being in, and belonging to, the family of God and abiding in His dwelling place, His house, positions us to flourish, parach. For an individual to flourish their faith must bud, blossom, break, or spread, out into a mature bloom. It is interesting that the word also holds the idea of breaking out of sickness or disease, such as leprosy. To flourish also speaks of thriving, getting ahead, gaining wealth and prospering.

According to Pastor Larry Stockstill, it can also mean to, "develop rapidly, be at your peak, , attract the attention of others, and be in a favorable environment."

All of this takes place in the courts, rux chatser, the enclosure, enclosures, settled abode, of our God, Myhla 'elohiym.

Beloved, this is what is being spoken of in the Book of John where we read:

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. John 15:4 (KJV)

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7 (KJV)

Today, rest in Him and He will cause you to flourish.
