And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all] (Matthew 18:3 AMP).
Nothing is more pleasing to the Lord than to find an individual who has a childlike, "trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving," faith. In fact, this kind of faith is required of every believer who desires to make heaven their home.
A strong faith is the heartfelt demonstration of childlike trust. Trust is a firm belief in the reliability, truthfulness, ability, or strength of someone. Trust accepts truth without evidence or investigation.
One with strong faith is lowly. In other words, faith is found in that person who considers themself to be crucified with Christ to such degree that they can say, "it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith . . . " (Galatians 2:20 Amp).
Strong faith is the demonstration of great love. "Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]" (1 Corinthians 13:8 Amp). There is nothing impossible with faith because faith is "activated and energized and expressed and working through love" (Galatians 5:6 Amp)
Finally, for faith to operate at its maximum potential, there must be a ready heart to forgive. Unforgiveness has nothing to do with God's kind of love and faith works by God's kind of love: unconditional, unlimited, unending.
We will be found without faith until we repent and begin to live like "little children."
