Dear One,
Fear not! The end is not yet.
Don't allow the enemy to sow seeds of fear into your heart through the words of the "prophets," so called.
Fear mongering is being used by many who purport to see visions and dreams of God. The Lord says, "They are not of me. The tormentor has gained entrance through the door of their personal fear. Though they are mine, they speak with the spirit of Balaam for profit. Fear not, for I AM with you."
Beloved, we must "grow up" and quit trying to read prophetic import into current events. Come, let's reason together.
When God judged the earth and destroyed by flood, the whole of creation convulsed. The plates of the earth were broken up and the fountains of the deep were opened.
Since that time, the earth has been realigning itself. It was designed by God to withstand the fall and to last until it is replaced by "a new heaven and a new earth." Scripture tells us that "the whole creation groans and travails in pain until now." This is the effect of the fall of man.
If I, or anyone, keeps prophesying that Los Angeles will be hit by a huge earthquake it is not prophetic; it is simply a known fact. Just wait long enough. The LDS church is waiting for a Mormon President of the United States because their "prophets" predicted it. Good grief! If you train enough politicians and run them for office, eventually to can self fulfill your "word."
Was New Orleans more sinful than San Francisco? Was Jamaica more sinful than Las Vegas? Were the people of Japan more sinful than those who strap bombs on their children and send them out to commit suicide?
Let's realize that life is a precious gift that may end today and live as though it were.
Let's reach out in love to all that are lost and introduce them to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Every crisis lends the opportunity to show the love and compassion of God in Christ.
"Occupy until I come" is still the directive of the day.
Selah
