Victory is Mine!

Victory is Mine! Have you ever said that? Has there ever been a stirring deep within you that, in spite of circumstances, in the face of what you see, just seems to shout "Victory is Mine!"?

Beloved, you should have. There should be many instances, even every day, that declare what Jesus wrought for you. Remember, Jesus lives in you if you have allowed Him to become Lord of your life. "Christ in you the hope of glory." In 1st John it is recorded that "whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith". (Col.1:27; 1 John 5:4)

"That same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you! Glory! Isaiah said, "He will swallow up death in victory" and Paul wrote that "Death is swallowed up in victory". We have victory now because we share in Christ's victory.(Isa.25:8; 1 Cor.15:54)

There are many people spreading fear, doubt, and despair these days. The newspapers are full of "bad news". In many instances it looks as if there is no hope. Don't let that cause you alarm. God is still on the throne. He still has everything under control. Jesus said it this way: "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD!".

In other words - Victory Is Mine!
