What Pleases God ?

How do you please Him, You may ask? What gives God pleasure? Is there something I can do to please Him?

Oh, yes! Everything you do in faith pleases Him. [Hebrews 11:6]

But there is another aspect and you might be surprised to know what pleases God and how it comes to be. Look, with me, in the book of Galatians:

Galatians 1:15-16 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

It pleased God to separate you unto Himself.

You were the object of His love from your mother's womb. It gave, and still gives, Him pleasure when you live and move in the separation from the world and it's ways that He gave you. He separated you. You have only to walk in it!

It pleased God to call you.

You may say, "I'm not called." Oh, yes you are! Every born again child of God, every blood bought Christian, is called by grace. The commission to "Go ye" was not just to the five-fold ministry. It was to those who "believe." [Mark 16:15-20]

It pleased God to reveal His Son in you.

Don't you know that you are an epistle read of all men. Your life speaks volumes when you let the Holy Spirit demonstrate the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ in and through you.
