A thought for today

With Joy You Shall .....

When you travel through dry, deserted, wilderness places you will perish if you do not have water. When the summer heat comes you will find that you need to up your intake of water to stay healthy and strong. Water is essential to life.

Spiritually, there is a parallel. There are fountains, rivers, wells, cisterns, and other realms of the Spirit that we are to draw from. If we neglect this provision of God we will perish in the wildernesses of life. Often, in the pressures of life, in the heat of the day, we lose our most precious possession.

What is that which is so precious? It is the instrument with which you draw from the wells of salvation.

Isaiah 12:2-3 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.  Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

With Joy shall you draw ...

Joy is the drawing bucket, or ladle,

with which we draw from the wells of salvation.

The word salvation means much, much more than what most people realize.

Salvation means: something or someone saved, deliverance, victory, prosperity, health and welfare.

With Joy you can draw out refreshing, life giving things from others who are saved. You can draw out deliverance from the wells of salvation as well as prosperity, health and victory. Absolutely everything necessary for your welfare is found in the waters of the wells of God's provision.
