If we live in the light that we have, we shall have more Light. If we are faithful in a very little, we may have the opportunity of being faithful in much. If we are faithful in our City we may be called out to play a part in the history of the world.
Luke 16:10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much:...
Luke 19:17 ... because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority ... Luke 19:26... unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away ...
God's choice is never arbitrary but is based upon some traits previously formed in those whom He bids come to His service.
Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate ...
Do you want to be used of God? Is your desire to serve and please Him? Then, beloved, I would ask you, "Are you faithful? Can you be trusted to do what God asks of you? Have you lived in the light of that which you have been given?"
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
God will appear and call to you as He did to Abraham -
Acts 7:2-3 ... The God of glory appeared ... And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.
- and as He did to Saul of Tarsus (Paul).
Acts 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
Acts 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
Listen to the call! This is the greatest hour the Church has ever seen! God is calling you and I to come apart and be included in His purpose just as He called Elijah from Thisbe, Amos from Tekoa, Peter from his fishing nets, Paul on the road to Damascus, and Matthew from his toll booth.
2 Cor. 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
Mark 16:15 ... Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
