What About the Fossil "Evidence"?

            And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. Genesis 6:17 (KJV)  

 

            Every child that has ever attended Sabbath or Sunday School knows the story of the great Flood. The question is, Do they really believe it? Actually, many of the teachers of those children do not believe the story because of what “science” says in today’s educational system. Their unbelief passes to the students quite easily.

            Evolutionary “scientists” of all disciplines point to the “fossil record” to show how the layers of dead things trapped in the soil prove that the earth has been here for “millions of years.” Carbon dating is used to intimidate and “prove” the age of many of these fossils and rocks.

            Let’s face it, if you put a pressure gauge on a tank that is pressurized at 20 psi and your gauge needle is out of whack and points at 20,000 psi, you could “prove” that the tank pressure was 20000 psi. If you, then, build all gauges to read 20,000 psi at 20 psi, you would have set a standard of measurement that was always going to be false. A 100 psi tank would always read 1,000,000 psi.

            This is basically what has happened to the carbon dating process. It has been altered to benefit the evolutionist anti-creationist theory. Along with “missing links” that are not “missing” at all; a fantasy world of ever evolving animals crawls from the goo to you by way of the zoo. The highest creation of God, mankind, is now lowered to “just another animal” status.

            This makes him expendable if he is perceived to threaten the rest of the world and its creatures and allows him to gratify his basest of “instincts” as would any other animal.

            The “fossil record” is simply the result of a worldwide flood as recorded in the Bible. Caves were filled with dead things (which fossilized), sediment settled in layers with dead things (which fossilized) and we have the record, not of millions of years of sedimentation, but of the sedimentation resulting from a worldwide flood.
