Do You See It?

Not only do I hear the sound of an abundance of rain but I see a cloud the size of a man’s hand that is moving swiftly across the sky, growing ever larger, to bring harvest rain. This is the former and latter rain that is a result of the Spirit of Supplication working in the intercessors of the Lord’s harvest.

It is important that we hear and see what the Spirit is speaking and what the Spirit is showing us concerning our future.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Revelation 2:29 (KJV)

Seven times the book of Revelation tells us to “hear what the Spirit saith.” Each time that we hear and heed what is spoken, there is instruction and promise.

We must also be able to see impending judgment so that we can be warned and repent.

Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth. Zechariah 5:5 (KJV)

Without a redemptive revelation of the plan and purpose of God we will find ourselves and those who follow us wandering aimlessly and ineffectively rather than moving ahead with purpose and strength. We must be able to see in the realm of the Spirit’s dreams and visions:

Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]—blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he. Proverbs 29:18 (Amp)

We must be able to see spiritual truth in order to know the hidden mystery of God as revealed in Christ:

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Ephesians 3:9 (KJV)

Let us be a people who both hear and see - Selah
